To apply to the JPSO, an employment application form must be completed and
turned in to our Personnel Office for review and processing. Our Personnel Office accepts
applications between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The office is located on the 1st
Floor of our Westbank Administrative Building at 1233 Westbank Expressway,
Harvey, LA 70058.
Because this is a law enforcement agency, a background check is required on all
applicants. Thus,
your application must be turned in to
our office in person and you must be able to provide proof of age,
citizenship, etc. (see General Requirements for Employment page). We will contact you to schedule a
pre-employment test, a polygraph exam, and a medical examination.
