What Details or Escorts are available?
The JPSO offers security details and escorts to businesses and citizens in
unincorporated Jefferson Parish for a fee.
Most of the details are administered by our
Public Assignments Office, while
Motorcycle escorts are administered by our
Traffic Division.

NOTE: For security details, we ask that you
contact our office at least 7 days
in advance so that we may schedule the appropriate number of officers to assist
you. Motorcycle and other traffic
related escorts should try to allow at least 3 days notice.

In exigent circumstances during non-working hours, the stand-by officer for the
Details Office may be contacted by dialing "911".
Fees
The standard fee for a security detail is $30/hr,
depending on the assignment.
Motorcycle escorts are set at $120 per bike, with a 4hr two bike minimum. Please confirm your fee when
scheduling your detail or escort.
