Assistance in Locating Shooting Suspect

Kyren Stackhouse

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in locating Kyren Stackhouse, 19, of Marrero, who is wanted in connection with a shooting and attempted armed robbery that occurred at around 7:00 pm on January 4, 2019.  The incident reportedly occurred in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in the 6200 block of Lapalco Boulevard.

Stackhouse and a known juvenile are suspected of attempting to commit the robbery of a 21-year-old male acquaintance of Stackhouse.  During the attempted robbery, a struggle over the firearm in the possession of the juvenile suspect resulted in single gunshot being fired.  That shot struck the male victim's 20-year-old girlfriend in the thigh and arm.

Anyone with information on the location of Kyren Stackhouse, or any other information about this incident, is asked to call Sergeant Donald Clogher of our Investigations Bureau at 504-364-5300 or contact Crimestoppers.
